The Arise Group, an infrastructure and logistics giant, is helping Togo fight the new coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). The firm donated sanitary equipment to Togo last Tuesday.
The country's health services were supplied with emergency medical supplies by the Arise Group. Masks, gloves, vials of hydroalcoholic gel, protective clothing, numerous thermo-flashes and other important products in the fight against coronavirus were received at Lomé International Airport on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. In all, a sixteen (16) ton of equipment, carried by two cargo ships, which will greatly help Togo in the response against coronavirus. This response equipment, received by the Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, Professor Moustafa MIJIYAWA and the National Coordinator of the Response to Covid-19, is an important step in the fight against the new pandemic.
This generous gesture of great importance is in line with the group's mission to contribute to Africa's economic and social development.
In a context of current global shortage of medical equipment needed to combat COVID-19, this gift from Arise is a significant contribution to the pandemic response.
Arise is very successful in the countries in which it operates and allows these countries to increase their exports through its model that secures foreign investment and allows the development of the private sector.
Present in many countries in Africa such as Benin, Mauritania, Côte d'Ivoire and especially Gabon, the Arise Group is an infrastructure and logistics solutions company that has become a reference on the African continent in the construction and operation of specialized Economic Zones. The company develops industrial ecosystems that are very useful for business development.
Its action on behalf of Togo in this period of global health crisis is an indication of the growing interest that this group is focusing on the country. Arise is no doubt implementing actions to establish itself in Togo in the coming years; a partnership that will be very beneficial for Togo.
