Bishop Kpodzro’s pill “Agbéyomé” is very bitter

If Togolese thirsty for the alternation knew that the formula hidden behind the litanies and the political pilgrimages of Monsignor Kpodzro was Messan Agbéyomé Kodjo, they would have long ago entrusted the octogenarian to stop preaching in the desert.
From a reliable source, the candidate « in packaging » of the Archbishop to be the solution of the alternation against the regime of Faure Gnassingbé is the boss of the RPT / OBUTS / MPDD confusion.
According to confidences, a tiny group of individuals play on the naivety and the good faith of the archbishop to offer him kinds of suicidal formulas at the Agbéyomé to be the torchbearer of the opposition in the next presidential election.
Agbéyomé Kodjo could have met this profile if he had remained in the same logic of engagement since he decided to turn his back on Gnassingbé Eyadéma.
Minister, Prime Minister, President of the Assembly under Eyadéma, competent, intelligent and influential, the man from Tokpli could have convinced if he did not indulge in blurring the line between defending the system and engaging alongside the opposition.
Attitude which poses a problem of stability and sincerity to convince the Togolese.
From his OBUTS party to the MPDD via the collective Sauvons le Togo and the FRAC, from his contradictory positions for or against the system in place, from his secret deals to suspicious missions for Faure Gnassingbé, from his nostalgia for the glory of past his ambition of a lost paradise, Agbéyomé Kodjo has burned all the cartridges and should not be qualified to meet this need for unique candidacy embodied by Mgr Kpodzro.
« If it is Agbéyomé, it is better for the archbishop himself to position himself to help a political transition in Togo; he has nothing to lose … « said an expatriate who knows the political history of Togo.
For the others, the urgent request is made to Mgr Kpodzro to open his eyes to the manipulations in favor of the man of the Garden Fréau to avoid wasting time.
The presidential election in Togo is scheduled for February 22, 2020. 17 candidates have already been announced, the most serious of which, Jean-Pierre Fabre of the ANC, the main opposition party.
Monseigneur Kpodzro, he engaged in political wanderings to invite the political class to choose a single candidate to face that of power. He should be Faure Gnassingbé, unless there is a miracle. The UNIR party congress is expected in the first week of January 2020.
