Atcha Dedji AFFOH: Vocation doctor …. political career

(@ Independantexpress.net)

Atcha Dedji AFFOH had, with the blessing of his parents opted for the profession of Doctor. If fate had not been disoriented, the former boss of Togocel would be a Doctor carrying out consultations or surgical operations in a hospital. « When I got my BAC my parents wanted whatever it cost me to be the family doctor. At first I was also interested but accounting first took over and then Telecom. It’s God who knows what is good, « Tchamba’s son confided in his broad smile.

Having left Togocom a few weeks ago, DG, as his many friends and courtiers who praise his simplicity call him, will not be idle.

From the Doctor vocation, he worked in the telecom and has just been called to the government to fill the void of primary and secondary teachers.

Selom Klasou’s government therefore has a new minister, a brand new one. This Thursday, December 12, Atcha Dédji Affoh was appointed Minister of Primary and Secondary Education. The announcement was a joy for the Coordination of Education Unions of Togo (CSET), which will finally have the opportunity to discuss sensitive issues with an interlocutor.

Indeed, since the composition of the current government, the ministry of primary and secondary education was attached to the Prime Minister’s Office. So this is good news for primary and secondary teachers.

At present, a heavy responsibility awaits Atcha Dédji Affoh, who has been able to obtain unanimity around himself on human relations, rigorous management and the spirit of sharing. This former director of TogoCom has long practiced in the telecommunications sector.

It should also be noted that he is an important member of the ruling party (Vice-president of the UNIR party for the central region). His journey as a brilliant and daring man is rather encouraging and heralds a bright future for this ministry.

Atcha Dedji will therefore have in front of him Atsou Atcha in the permanent tandem between the government and the teachers’ union. Let us hope that the homonyms work to save Togolese education.

As for the new, it will end up finding traces of its primary vocation: Doctor … inch Allah.
