In accordance with current laws, the Prime Minister will have to file his resignation and that of his government after the swearing-in of the President-elect. The latter, after the traditional thanks to the resigning Prime Minister, then decides to reappoint him or to choose a new Prime Minister. This whole process can take several weeks or even months; but for this new five-year period, we expect to see things change very quickly according to our information.
Over the past five years, many events have changed things in government. Social demands, accusations of human rights violations, outrageous comments by some ministers… By far, the political crisis of 2017-2018 stemming from the monster demonstrations of the Pan-African National Party (PNP) will have been the greatest threat to the current government. Today, a new factor is to be taken into account, the health crisis linked to Coronavirus.
All of these and other factors are included in the appointment of ministers of the new government.
The courageous men who have distinguished themselves by their pro-government stance and their significant actions, especially those who find themselves at the front in the fight against the Covid-19 are consulted and are on the renewal list.
Similarly, according to our information, to give a touch of innovation to the new government, new positions are announced. Some of the tenors of the party will be sidelined; exclusion that will no doubt be difficult to digest.
Many of the current government have disappointed the Head of State in the management of their portfolios.
Several factors will precipitate events in the coming days; according to confidences, it is expected that there will be some staggering decisions and very surprising appointments.
According to some sources, several women are expected to head several ministries in the next government, a touch of feminization that will serve to earn international honors.
We'll be back if things don't rush before our next release.
